Glenn Beck has uncovered EXTREMELY disturbing information concerning how the White House through the FCC is now in the stages of developing an alternative to our First Amendment right to free speech under the Constitution. Their schemes are to use an ALREADY IN PLACE apparatus to silence opposition voices under the guise of “diversity” and “localism,” and to charge ASTRONOMICAL amounts of money to use a license.
As some have now pointed out, this changes everything. This is not a Republican versus Democrat, Conservative versus Liberal fight, but rather a fight to keep our free market enterprise system under a Constitutional Republic, or turn this country into a tyrannical, socialist, all powerful state where citizens who dissent are fined or put out of business, and are persecuted for their opinions which differ from those of the state.
President Obama has appointed a man named Mark Lloyd to what has been called a “diversity czar” position on at the Federal Communications Commission. I do not think America will forget his name after today.
Lloyd is about to put into place REGULATIONS that will charge radio station owners to pay one years’ operation budget to use the airwaves. I think that ONE REGULATION will put just about everyone in the industry OUT OF BUSINESS, and opposition in American could virtuously disappear very quickly. You see, after radio and TV, they have as their next target, the INTERNET, as per advice from Cass Sunstein.
“So, basically he wants to take over regulation of the entire operation of radio and television station(s),” said Seton Motley, Communications Director for the Media Research Center on Wednesday during Fox News’ Glenn Beck’ show.
“You are about to lose your freedom of speech in this country,” commented Beck. “Please explain to me how this isn’t anti-capitalist, revolutionary in nature, and anti-Constitutional.”
I am concerned that as the details are being uncovered, we will find more and more disturbing pieces of information – one after another – seemingly weaving what seems to be the foreshadow of what we all feared would happen some day in America: BIG BROTHER taking shape in Washington D.C. right now. But I’ll let YOU decide.

Lloyd wants to set up 8 “pods” around the country to regulate the following:
- Political advertising
- Political commentary
- number of commercials
Here’s what Obama’s pick for FCC “diversity czar” wrote on 7/24/07 in “Forget the Fairness Doctrine”:
“In our report, we call for ownership of RULES that WE think will create GREATER LOCAL DIVERSITY of programming, news, and commentary. And WE call for more LOCALISM by putting MORE TEETH INTO LICENSING RULES. But we do not call for a return of the fairness doctrine.”
Those TEETH will bite our RIGHT to freedom of speech right out of our precious Constitution, a document which is a CONTRACT between the federal government, the states, and the People of this great land. This contract is now being BROKEN by the federal government, in my opinion.
Listen to even more disturbing information about how the political Left will benefit from this assault on our First Amendment RIGHT to free speech in America.
“…those localism boards are being created right now. Our diversity czar has just proposed that radio companies pay 100% of their operating budget yearly,” said Motley. “That 100% tax would then be TRANSFERRED to STATE-RUN RADIO of NPR…If you can’t pay (the tax)…you’ll LOSE YOUR LICENSE. And that license will then be sold to a MINORITY GROUP.”
According to Motley, “he’s fundamentally OPPOSED to virtuously ANY PRIVATE OWNERSHIP of media.” He also said the Lloyd thinks that “the original sin in communications” was when “President Jefferson relinquished control” of the telegraph, which was controlled by the Post Office.
“His plan is to use the nebulous FCC regulation of media diversity and localism, to travel alternative routes to arrive at the same destination as the ‘(Un)Fairness Doctrine,’ which is SHUT YOU UP by SHUTTING YOU DOWN,” explained Motely.” Then he wants to fine you…if your not meeting HIS definition of media diversity and localism. He’s actually come up with a media and localism MATHEMATICAL EQUATION…it’s just BIZARRE…” Motley said Lloyd is “myopically focused on the racial and ethnic…”
“The things he (Obama) is talking about doing to shut down radio are simply un-American,” charged Rush Limbaugh being interviewed via phone on Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ show. “All of these disasters are what Obama wants. The more crisis the better. The more opportunity for government to say, ‘Let us in and fix the problem,’” continued Rush. “It’s a dangerous time. It’s the MOST DANGEROUS time IN MY LIFE for FREEDOM and LIBERTY in this country.”
Commenting on his radio show, Rush said his “first hour yesterday was chronicling how this man is SYSTEMATICALLY DISMANTLING our ability to gather intelligence to protect ourselves against an attack.” Rush charged that Obama is purportedly “using his Attorney General to make the United States the villain in the world.”
Limbaugh also warned that this “is NOT politics as usual. This is NOT left versus right. This is NOT Republican versus Democrat. This is STATE-ISM – TOTALITARIANISM versus FREEDOM.”
These folks aren’t the only ones seeing something dramatically wrong with America.
Former Bush Administration advisor Carl Rove speaking with Beck said Lloyd “is a COMPLETE LUNATIC if he believes Venezuela is a model we ought to be following. Does Barack Obama understand this?”
“I do think we face a VERY REAL DANGER of CHANGING what our country is by putting in place policies that CENTRALIZE POWER in GOVERNMENT, and centralize power in…Washington,” warned Rove. “And that’s what I’m really worried about with these czars…”
“This is what’s disturbing about this,” Rove also warned, ”this President has CENTRALIZED POWER INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE,” and is “running policy…and running elements of our economy out of the White House.”
Rush opined that the “whole Administration is…as RADICAL and FAR LEFT as any” that our country has “EVER” had. “And what they’re trying to do here in communications is simply STIFLE DISSENTING VOICES. They’re trying to WIPE OUT ANY OPPOSITION,” warned Limbaugh, who says his audience is still growing.
Shifting gears a little to Obamacare and the death of liberal icon Ten Kennedy, Republican Sen. John McCain-(AZ) speaking on Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ show said the American People know what’s happening in other countries, where basically there is a RATIONING of healthcare, particularly when they reach a certain AGE, as to what kind of treatment they can get, and IF they” can get treatment.
Laura Ingraham, a radio talk show host, said that “your seeing the opposition today to LARGE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS, and the large government presence in our lives, that Ted Kennedy championed for his entire life.”
Fox News contributor Bill Kristal speaking on Fox seemed to sum up how I feel about the life of Ted Kennedy when he said that he “wasn’t a big fan of his politics. I didn’t really admire him…He was a liberal. He didn’t change at all – forty-seven years in the United States Senate. And some people might regard that as admirably consistent,” Kristal continued. “And some people might regard that as admirable consistency. I, frankly, would regard that as being BLIND TO REALITY and REFUSING to LEARN from FACTS. He continued to advocate policies that had LONG AGO been PROVEN, in my view, NOT to work.”
Charles Krauthhammer, another Fox New contributor, said Kennedy “was the titular defacto head of the American liberalism as na ideology” and “he represented the EXTREME LIBERALISM, in a sense.”
BTW, Democrat Sen. Robert Bird (WV) said that Obamacare ought to be named after Ted Kennedy, who has been instrumental in pushing for government-run healthcare for all.
In other news, Democrats are still trying to find a way to force Obamacare down our throats, even if it means destroying the entire atmosphere in the Senate.
And in still other news, according to Leslie Page of the group Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), “Literally weeks after they (the federal government) vote to slap a ninety percent tax on any bonus for an executive who takes TARP money, there’re pasing a sort of a bous program for their staffers to pay back student loans on Capital Hill,” she said on Fox News’ ‘Cavuto’ show.
“Up to one-hundred-sixty-eight-thousand dollars the staffers can make. And they can get, from U.S. taxpayers, up to sixty grand…to pay back their student loans.” She said what they did was “beyond hypocritical” and “outrageous,” comparing the situation to “a French revolution.”
Former Republican House Majority Leader Dick Armey speaking on Fox News seemed to sum up what many people may be starting to believe about President Obama.
“President Obama is a bonifide romantic egalitarian, big government advocate, and he’s not going to CHANGE from that.”
Please continue to pray and do whatever you think is right to oppose Obamacare and other bad policies of the Democrats and the Obama White House. If we lose our freedom of speech, I believe we WILL lose ALL the rest of our rights guaranteed in the Constitution. I have already contacted my Congressman about this extremely important issue concerning free speech. Please do the same.
