Years ago there was this crazy sitcom called Car 54, Where Are You? The series followed the madcap adventures of NYPD officers Gunther Toody (Joe E. Ross) and Francis Muldoon (Fred Gwynne) in the fictional 53rd precinct in The Bronx (my hometown). They were a bit buffoonish but lovable and no one knew where their police car was located, thus the name of the show.
